In the last 10 hours, I've gotten 20 voicemails from political campaigns... 15 for Elizabeth Dole, 2 for Pat McCrory, 1 for Barack Obama (and they got my name wrong!), 1 for some no-name judge, and 1 anti-union.

15 phone calls from one candidate isn't likely to make me more willing to vote for that candidate. Oy.

It seems there is something to be said for being unaffiliated.
I haven't gotten a single one of these types of phone calls.

I got an e-mail with a WAV file attached each time. Makes it easy to ignore the phone call, and still keep up.

i think i've gotten a forest's worth of mailings from various parties, most of them republican. given that i'm a registered democrat, i'm not sure what they're hoping to achieve.

The only thing I can figure is that I've owned my home for a few years, and I've maintained a landline phone number.

lots of phone messages here too...

two today from the same fire chief endorsing the same people, but with two different voices, was very very odd...then another from Michael Waltrip, the Nascar driver, endorsing someone else...
