So, i got my new plastics in, and of course i try to wax them before i put them on the bike. Well wax + flat paint = no good, now they are kinda black with like white crap all over them.

Any idea what the best way to get that crap off is?

Haha, I thought that was the whole reason for "flat" paint...no shine

why not just let it wear down naturally and then use the flat black stuff? it might look crappy for a while... but it's better than scrubbing on your new fairings for hours & possibly screwing them up even more? But I'm no wax pro.

Simple Peanut Butter. All other methods mentioned above are going to be to harsh for flat matte paint.

Just spread non chunky PB over the panel, and wipe free. Do a final wipe with Isopropryl Alc
