My freshman year living in Bowen, I was browsing the network seeing what kind of stuff kids had shared. Found a guy with his entire C drive shared with read/write privileges. I went through and found his SN and sent him a message to get that taken care of asap... I told him how to fix it and that was it. I did copy his music first, that's all there was of interest.

What had happened was, my laptop starting having major problems and I turned it in to the Student Computing Help Services or w/e to have them send it off for warranty work. I got a loaner laptop from them, so in no way do I know the guy.

Some guy on Nomad recently had his Home folder shared (Mac OS X). I copied a bunch of his music and some movies, and left some movies I had. He also had is Microsoft OFfice serial saved too.

The next week, he had his sharing turned off.
