our neighbor (w/m/34) was over last night and as the night progressed and the results poured in, he got more and more emotional. at some point, he broke down and started sobbing - his crying continued until he left, (1hr and 20 kleenex). a very inspirational time, but nonetheless, unexcusable man-crying in public. ruined our night. about 15 min into his sniffling, my g/f completely oblivious to what was going on, said to him - "whats up with your allergies all of a sudden?" lol

I'm not even gonna lie. I totally cried! (not sobbing though) when I saw we got California, and during his speech.

My tears were from exhaustion and realizing that finally all my hard work paid off. I did a lot for the democratic party this past year. So I was kinda happy for it to be over, and for us to be on top.

To be surrounded by everyone that went through all the trials and tribulations of the past year right along with me was pretty emotional too! It was so neat to see everyone so passionate about something. It may sound gay, but last night was pretty inspiring.
