got my wheels aligned when i got new tires, they showed me the printout and nothing was too far off

everything was fine until a couple of days ago (got the new tires on Sunday)

to go in a straight line, the steering wheel has to be at almost the 1 o'clock position. if i move it to be straight, i'm in the lane to the left of me within 2 seconds or so.

is this just a case of the tech that did the alignment being lazy and not adjusting the tie rods after? or something else? never had this happen before after an alignment.

make sure you're on a completely level road when you test this. most roads have a slant to them for rain runoff, so you'll always be compensating one way or another to hold a straight line. even if it is a little off, it doesn't mean you're out of alignment, just that the top of the steering wheel wasn't set dead 12 o'clock. kinda like seating a drum head, it sounds the same whether the logo is at the top or not.
