a bunch of pics have disappeared within the past few days

it seems that an entire range of photos, #10500 - #32500, are gone

i haven't checked the boundaries too closely, so it's probably a larger range than that.

what's going on? are you just deleting them to free up room on your drives?

should we just expect that any and all photos will be deleted at any time?

yes, photos are hashed. dnl - edit the photo very slightly and then upload it again

i've been moving some stuff around here and there over the last week in preparation for a permanent fix to the photo gallery space issue. they are not lost, just not available at the moment. i'll try to get it finished this weekend

well, now even more photos are disappearing. looks like the range has passed the #45000 on the top end.

are you still planning to restore them? I'd like to get them back to save to my hard drive... i know i should never have relied on TWW for permanent storage, but... well... you know.

yeah, i'm still planning on doing it. it's just gonna take a while to transfer so much stuff around, i need a couple hours i can keep an eye on it. haven't had a couple hours lately. if there's a particular photo you want, let me know i'll put it back
