I have the choice of getting a second bachelors in biomedical engineering vs. Master's in Biochemistry. It is not at NC-state. Which do you think would be better off for me at the end? I want to go to dental-school. Oh these programs are not at NC-state? The biomedical engineering program is at an unaccredited soon to accredited program vs. Biochemistry is close to where I live.

which ever one will allow you to earn less than 250k a year

but seriously, go for the master's degree. the bachelors degree in all fields is getting more common and employers lots of times look for more.

actually, if you want to go to dentistry school, any other degree is basically for your own benefit; master's, 2nd bachelor's, or none at all--it really makes no difference

But, it is a 2nd bachelors in engineering vs. a Masters in biochemisty. [b]

You are just trying to start something when there is nothing there.

neither degree is going to makes you a better dentist; i mean, it might make you look like a marginally stronger applicant, but it's not like you wouldn't be competitive with just a BS

I don't know, I am also worried about the jobs right now. Engineers have better opportunities in finding jobs vs. science majors

at the bachelor's level there probably are better opportunities in engineering, but once you have an MS, i'd say they're pretty much at par. there's also a greater breadth of jobs in biochemistry than in bme
