ok. the corner store is more financially sound than 7/11 and therefore the solution is to charge 40% more for items. most 7/11s are also farther away than the corner stores, unless you live right next to it, of course.

corner stores exist BECAUSE they are closer than 7/11s, so that's why to me it doesn't make sense that I can get stuff cheaper there.

I do view 7/11s as closer to grocery stores than my guy a block away

though, that's why it pisses me off, because I wouldn't expect a grocery store to charge $1.10 for candy sooner than my guy on the corner. what's next, milk? bread? etc
