i always hate it when people are looking through surveillance cameras, and they can somehow super-enhance an image from a crappy camera and generate a crystal-clear HD image from a camera with a 1.5" aperture to find out who the spy/killer/thief or whoever is.

^5 that bothers me more than a lot of things, like when it's security footage, and they zoom it in so you can see big block pixels, and then the scanner wipes over the screen and turns solid pixels into crystal clear fine detail
