RWD preferred, nothing special just running over cones.

There's no way you'll find a mechanically sound Miata for $1000 IMO.

I still say you should rent or buy a Neon. It's a decent chassis and it doesn't weigh much. You can buy an older 5 speed Neon for dirt cheap and you can strip it out and put a cone filter and a straight pipe on it son, haha.

ok then

scratch that one off the list

maybe a shitty s-10, lower it (or not so that the cones dont get stuck)

They don't let you auto-x an S10; assuming that is his plan.

There was a 5-speed BMW 325 on CL the other day for $1600 with fresh brakes, tires, clutch, etc. Look around and you can find one for $1k pretty easily, but you might do just as well by spending a little more and getting one that doesn't need work.

Yeah, that will work, but I still say you should get a Neon.

^ Oh dude, that's a good one right there.

Longitudinal front engine front wheel drive FTW.

Here's a 1992 at the Ring son.

he's talking about racing, not deviant sex. I think he's more concerned with driving a car than beating trannys in it.
