I have a large amount of computer crap, and a small amount of money in my wallet. Lets see if I cant reverse that situation.
Bid away!
1) 2.4 ghz celeron 256mb ram 9gb HDD desktop. It has windows XP Pro with a valid key and a CD-ROM drive. Also has a modem, good basic computer with the addition of another harddrive which I can do if you give me the drive. 2) Another pair in the same configuration as above but with 40gb HDD's
3) Dell Optiplex 745 Ultra Small Form Factor, seriously this thing is smaller than a pizza box and about 4" thick. It has a Pentium D (will need to look at the speed, probably a 3.4) 2gb DDR2 ram, a modem (whee?) and a DVD-ROM drive. It has a 40GB HDD with windows XP PRO installed. It also has an open PCI-e slot if you want to put in a short graphics card.
4) Gateway solo 3100 laptop. It has 192 of ram a 333mhz P2 processor and CDROM. Will include ethernet card. We used this as a print server. The screen works but is flaky if hit. Includes battery and power adapter but does not keep a charge.
5) HP Laserjet 4 500 sheet add on tray. This plugs into the bottom of an HP laserjet 4 of any type and adds another 500 sheets to the printer's capacity.
6) Dell Inspiron 600m. 1.3ghz Pentium M (equals~1.8 P4), 256MB of ram wifi and 40GB (i think) HDD. Backlight does not work. Has external VGA. Includes windows XP. Battery works although I haven't tested it in a while so I don't know how well. I wanted to fix it but never got around to it. If I don't get a good enough offer I probably still will. It includes charger.
More to come... Bid away. 11/12/2008 11:40:50 AM |

do the old Celeron PCs take DDR or SD RAM? Whats the condition of the cases? I'm gonna guess these are plain-jane whitebox cases. 11/13/2008 8:38:18 PM |

still interested in the optiplex
Dell says the ultra small form factor doesn't have a pcie slot. Is this just the small form factor? http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/opti_745techspecs.pdf 11/15/2008 6:24:26 PM |

humm... I thought it was the USFF and it does have a PCI-E slot. anyways its service tag is g3jk4d1
Also: the celerons take ddr ram although i do have one that takes SDRAM that is a P3 1ghz and one of them is plane jane the other is a dell dimension 2400. The dimension 2400 has home though.

Could you be more descriptive as to what kind of desktops these are? You gave a few specs in the original post, but later said it was a Dell Dimension 2400. See thats more interesting to me than a whitebox PC. 11/18/2008 5:56:44 PM |

the one was originally a whitebox and then the whitebox was used for what the dimension 2300 was. I'll post pics exct tonight. Someone is coming to look at the optiplex 745 tommrow and then i will have it available again assuming that she does not take it. 11/19/2008 3:19:25 PM |

You have to let everybody else know what the highest bid is. It's like we're bidding in the dark here. I have something better than boobies....MONEY. You can use it to see boobies if you cant see them for free.
I win.
I really need that Optiplex! 11/19/2008 10:54:23 PM |
