I've been DVRing My Own Worst Enemy.
I liked it OK, but it always seemed like it was missing "something." I don't know what, but it just never crossed the line to "can't miss." 11/13/2008 9:34:24 AM |

Lipstick Jungle is my favorite girly show
It will be missed, at least by me and my girlfriends. 11/14/2008 9:58:56 AM |

You knew My own worst enemy was destined to fail
not when they cast Christian Slater
but when they cast Mike Motherfucking O'Malley in a serious role 11/14/2008 10:13:06 AM |

Casting Christian Slater as the lead, resulted in My Own Worst Enemy's demise. I couldn't stand the commercials with his weird/freaky ass grin, so I sure as heck wouldn't watch the show.
Never heard of Lipstick Jungle, sounds like a Desperate Housewives/Sex and the City knockoff, let's see how racy/whorish we can be on prime time TV show. 11/14/2008 11:00:22 AM |

that's because Lipstick Jungle is based on the novel by Candace Bushnell, who also wrote the column (and later novel) Sex and the City in which the show SatC was based

I've seen all of the My Own Worst Enemies because of DVR...and yeah this is deserved.
It's like the show would be just ok, but I never really felt like I just had to see an episode or couldn't wait for the next one. It was almost becoming a burden being invested in the series, haha. 11/14/2008 11:20:33 AM |

i liked My Own Worst Enemy but couldn't really see what they could do with the premise long-term
it's not like there's anything better on in that timeslot though 11/14/2008 11:29:14 AM |

My own worst enemy wasn't very good.
But it was a hell of a lot better than that Mentalist shit on CBS, and that show is apparently doing very well.
Seems like NBC has really good shows, especially comedies, but for some reason complete shit on ABC and CBS always beats it in ratings. 11/16/2008 6:33:54 PM |

what I want to know is why hasn't Kath and Kim been cancelled that show is absolute garbage. compared to Kath and Kim MOWE is the best show on television. 11/18/2008 6:19:57 PM |

Well obviously lafta isn't the only person to like that show, but there are some shows that will go down in history as being canceled too early (Freaks and Geeks, Firefly, Wanda at Large) and there are some shows that got canceled for good reason. Daybreak is surely on the latter half of that. 11/18/2008 6:42:22 PM |

BS, its cause people are too dimwitted to appreciate the great show, in fact i think 24 owes its success to daybreak as it followed the format, i think people just werent ready for awsome at the time11/19/2008 12:15:03 AM |

I can't figure out if you're trolling or just stupid. Judging from every single post you've ever made, I'm leaning towards stupid.
But yes, I'm sure that a show that was in it's 5th season when Daybreak came out owes quite a lot to the show that got canceled after 6 crappy episodes.11/19/2008 1:23:02 AM |
