I can not find the document. but there was only one that was authorized by the Catholic Church. It didn't say who to vote for or to back one candidate over the other. its main message was to vote with your conscience whatever it may be. The Church knocked down any other released documents on the issue including the anti abortion propaganda.

54% of Catholics did vote Obama and not McCain.

This is really sad that this happened. but in any religion you have people with extremist and backwards views. it does not mean that they are right. It also doesn't mean that people of faith are idiots either.
