So last night my friend wrecked my motorized bicycle( ran it into a dumpster) and the front fork broke. Anyone have any experience with a broken fork before? I looked on ebay and I can find a used 26" fork for about $10. Is this as simple as replacing the fork and then reinstalling the handlebars or would I be better off buying a new cheap bike?

just make sure you get the right size fork with the appropriate steerer tube (threaded or non, in appropriate size) and it's pretty easy. You might have to get someone to install the headset but it should be pretty cheap. definitely cheaper than a new bike.

ive got a pair of judy rock shox ill sell you. brand new pretty much. has disc mount on it as well.

its not that involved really. to you have a 1" or a 1-1/8" threadless.

you will have to bang off the race off the old fork and bang it on to the new one. make sure when you put it on te the seating is level
