How fucked am I?

They already told me that I wouldn't be on the roll for the RBC Center graduation. I am actually happy about this because my mom was going to make me go to this (I couldn't say no to her about this after helping me pay my way through college).

I realize that it is my fault for forgetting about this so please don't give me shit. It just sucks that after putting all this time, effort and money into college, I possibly won't be able to graduate this semester because of a fucking blue card.

The thing is, you are still graduating. The RBC center graduation isn't worth your time and they will not call out your name during it anyway. What is your department's policy on it? The departmental graduation is the only one that really counts, if its small they will just add your name on to the list.

Chances are you won't get your diploma at graduation, but they will mail it you afterward. but that is the same for most people.

Jrb599 was right. I received 1 e-mail 2 months ago about it. Obviously I should have taken care of it then. I realize I was wrong for not doing so. I just want to make sure that things will work out fine and a fucking blue card won't keep me from graduating this semester.

Thanks for your input frogncsu. I went to my fiance's graduation at the RBC Center and I am glad that I won't have to do it again. As far as departmental graduation, I'm pretty sure they'll add me to the list. I'm graduating with only about 6 other people in Nuclear Engineering so I don't think it'll be a problem.

The blue card isn't due until January 7th.

Unless you mean you are graduating in December

in such a small program i'm a little surprised your advisor (although not his/her responsibility at all) didn't catch it

^ Sometimes advisors don't give a fuck.

It happens.

^^that's partly why I turned in the card so late. My adviser is usually on my ass about everything but she never reminded me about the blue card.

I know it's not her responsibility though. I've just been so use to her reminding me about important stuff like this.

I've been blessed with a great adviser either way.

I never got an email or heard anything about a blue card till a few weeks ago when my friends in other majors were telling me about how they had to get it in. So i called and they said i could turn it in within the first few weeks of class.
