12 games worth of FCS stats != 9 games worth of FBS stats.

Edwards' only FBS game was against a mediocre LSU team who has the worst passing defense in the SEC and 81/119 teams overall and easily his worst performance of the year was in that game (statistics wise). He is good but I think his quality is inflated due to the poor quality of his opponents.

I hope we schedule those fucking goons next year if we have to add another 1-aa team. So what if they beat us...at least it will validate the shit talking they have done over the last 3 years...and if they lose, with their "best qb" as a senior, then I can tell these rednecks to shut the fuck up about App being the best team in NC for the rest of my life.

like I said, they played Edwards this year against LSU, a team with bad defense and specifically terrible passing defense (81st) and he had nothing to show for it. If you look at his stats this year, 800 yds and 9 TDs were pads against some pretty poor defenses in FCS.

Wilson's games included 3 top 15 FBS passing defenses with the lowest ranked team at 56th in passing defense. How can you even compare their stats?

hey i used to cheer for app too. I cheered for them against michigan, been to games with friends etc. But it annoys me when they talk about being the best NC team or having the best QB in the state. (honestly, I think skinner would be as good as edwards in FCS easily and wilson has looked better than edwards too this year)

as juvenile as it sounds, its definitely a case of "they started it" 100%. I always rooted for app state and even people who didn't prob had 0 bad blood with ASU fans until THEY started talking about how they were the best program in the state blah blah blah. Even heard a few of them talking about how they could have beaten wake "easily" the year that wake won the acc

I don't even remember that group being that big (like less than 100 members when people on here were talking about it). Mainly bickering between a concentrated group of ppl a lot smaller than the scope of people I hear talking about app state's greatness

1. I actually have to listen to real live rednecks talk shit to me as an NC State fan about how ASU would whip our asses up and down the field with Edwards, and if he played in 06 they would have killed us.

2. I'm talking about last year's game against wofford when we also played them, since its the closest comparison. I don't care about this year. The shit talking from them has been going on since before we played them in 06...3 seasons ago now.

3. Because....like I say...I have to listen to these idiots talk like they would make the jump to 1-A and run the ACC. If you don't have to deal with them, then I'm happy for you...but they're as bad as UNC fans.


I respect what App. State has going up there. They are unreal. The problem is that you can't compare between divisions. There's a reason for that...so all I'm asking is that they shut the fuck up...and I'd be willing to play them.
