I am thinking of doing this for my car. I've looked online for a while and have only found the website where they want to sell the kits or sell the books so you can make your own.

Does anyone here have a good site with detailed instructions on how to make one of these?

hydrogen injection has been around for a while, but the efficiency increase due to installation of these kits is grossly overestmated

i think zxappeal was thinking about pulling one of these numbers one time

oh and as far as detailed instructions

I was...but there's a lot more to it than meets the eye. First of all, I'm a big fan of anything that can act as a catalyst of sorts to help propagate flame front...and hydrogen in gas form definitely has that potential.

BUT...this is something that you can't easily pull off without a lot of homework and forethought. There are a LOT of huckster kits available out there that are pure-t shit. to top it off, today's ECMs may actually overcompensate and end up giving you worse gas mileage, AND you end up with error codes being set because of out of range sensor readings.

You've got to invest in a good chunk of money up front to build a hydroxy generator that will put out enough gas to actually be of economic benefit, and you need to provide some means of fooling the ECM into thinking it's running under optimum conditions. I believe it has potential, but there are far too many people riding this hype and selling you cheap shit and having you believe it's really gonna be of benefit.

Caveat emptor...

My pops told me about this a few days ago and I thought it sounded like horseshit. Apparently, he talked to a guy that has a setup on his vehicle (don't know make/model) and has it working.

You done any more looking at it lately zx?

No...haven't had the time, energy, money, desire, or the huge supply of stainless steel that I once had.

I may investigate this more closely in the future. But in order to do so, I need a test mule. The Accord is OBD-II, and I don't even want to begin wasting my time with it.
