This morning I was sitting at the stop light at Gorman and Western, and when it changed I couldn't move. I needed to manually put it in 2, and then was able to go and switch back to drive. Ideas?

does it throw a code ever? a lot of times a bad solenoid on a GM tranny will have a manufacturer-specific trouble code

the check engine light isn't even on, so would there still be a code available?

it's possible for dtc's to exist without a cel.

we need a better explanation of the symptoms here.

yea, that was about all i was getting out of them

its like OH NOES, SOMETHING DIDN'T COMMUNICATE

check the cig. lighter/power port fuse and try again.
