The other day my wife google searched something like "dry cracked lips home remedy" (without quotes) and it wouldn't show results until you typed the words that was all garbled up in a image, like you have to do sometimes when you register for a site or buy football tickets (from gopack). It said something about some virus or hijacker thing or some shit.

I thought this was going to be about really blowing up computers.....

Last night my PC wouldn't boot so after all the normal debugging, I narrowed it down to my motherboard wasn't giving the power good signal to the power supply. I thought it would be interesting to see what happens when i short the power good pin on the motherboard to ground...

Well that worked for about 10 minutes. I got booted all the way and was looking for any kind of motherboard diagnostic tools... then my south bridge burst into flames...

I used to use http://astalavista.box.sk but those cracks got virused up after a while too. I only ever used it for cracks to let me play games without the CD inserted so it didn't bother me too much.
