You can get a pretty nice, not too old one for not much. Anybody in here have one or know anyone who owns one? I know it won't be as reliable as a Lexus, but should you expect Land Rover quality? 12/11/2008 3:13:55 PM |

This thread is useless and has no valuable information.
"not too old one for not much" couldn't be more vague if you tried. 12/11/2008 3:25:02 PM |

its not being a smart ass. No one knows what your definition of 'not too old' is or what 'not much' is either. 12/11/2008 3:33:12 PM |

So rather than follow beethead's advice and browse a forum where 95% of the people posting are Audi owners, you would rather base your purchase decision on maybe five people that come out of the woodwork here to share their A8L experiences with you?

You can find the 4.2L in the A6 as well so if you want to know strictly about engine reliability you could try including that in your search. That said, you need to find a nice, low mileage, '04 6MT CPO'd 2.7T A6 and throw a chip in it. 12/12/2008 8:48:09 AM |

My mom has an A8, not the L, but its a 2008 White A8 with just about every option. I love driving it, we had a 745i and the A8 just handles and rides a lot better imho.
Lemme know if you have any questions 12/12/2008 7:00:20 PM |

if you are looking in that age/luxury/price you should check out the BMW 740i. You can probably get an E38 with nav and sports package for around that price.
Or shit, how much do Phaetons cost? I know they are a bargain now because they stopped making them, I'm not sure if they have depreciated that much yet though. 12/12/2008 7:05:21 PM |

Thanks for the info hondapimp. There's a Phaeton in the parkign deck at work and it just looks too tall for me. Definitely a nice ride though.

Yes because people that talk on Audi forums and say "throw a chip on it" are schmucks.
Hey slaptit, that back seat is saved for your sweet hairless ass.12/13/2008 1:19:13 PM |
