I've stayed in a few hostels in my time, and you hit it on the nose, if it's not hot eastern european chicks drugging you up and selling you to some crazy fucks who want to kill you for money, then it's Turkish gypsys who reek of a mix of turkish tobbacco & pachouli oil, and will quickly turn your hostel room into a thick-rugged dimly-lit opium den.

The latter doesn't sound all that bad, except when you wake up 3 months later in the same den & life has passed you by. You'll be lucky if you can crawl your way out on your atrophied hands and knees, see through the blinding light of the first sun you've seen in months, and hail a passing cab whose color is eerily similar to that of your teeth.

But you know what I'm talking about, I'm pretty sure the months of lapse of contact while you've been in the big Sleazy have at times been a result of similar, if not more horrendous, circumstances. Glad to hear you're coming back to your senses, sticking to the Sauza after another bout of rehab, I imagine Pepe biting you on the ass to wake you from your opiatic stupor, with results similar to Shortround's burning of Indy's arm to wake him from the Black Sleep of Kali Ma. He subsequently probably jumped into the pond at Armstrong park, shat on your pillow and dryhumped Tupelo, quickly returning to his daily routine.

Life, it is a motherfucker.
