idk...after 462 i decided not to pursue the minor

i'd imagine its much of the same...goodluck...that GIS shit is cool as hell for what it can do, but a royal pain in the ass figuring out how to use it

I am planning to take GIS minor (hope i wont give up). I have found two documents showing the requirements. One of them is old another not showing any date
Do you know where to get current info about the course requirements for GIS minor for graduate students
I am trying to contact Dr. Devine but for some reason he is not replying to my e-mails

i even tried stopping by his office twice but he wasnt available

would getting a gis minor as a graduate be diff than getting a gis minor as a undergraduate?

i'd think you'd take the same courses

i think its like 3 classes...like 462, 531, 532 iirc...hold up let me check

you are welcome...for what its worth i didnt know you were a chick at first

i cant find the website..i coulda swore it was 462, 531, 532....but you couldnt take them in the same semester so that woulda added a YEAR to my graduation(funk that)

NR/PRT 531 doesn't exist any more. It's been replaced with PRT 462. IIRC, PRT 462 will be offered this spring and you should be able to register. Speaking of the GIS series at NCSU, I just finished all the requirements for my graduate GIS sertificate .

If you need information about the GIS program at NCSU, Dr. Devine can answer all your questions. However, you may have to wait until the faculty has returned from the holiday break.
