I was watching this last night and kept hearing a cat "meow" throughout most of the movie. I looked it up online but couldn't find an explanation for it. Anyone else notice this before?

yes the cat loop has memorized me as well.

best part is his reaction after getting the chalk in the eyes. Also apparently chalk in the eyes makes you unable to look anywhere other than the ceiling.

Thank you. It was only during the fight scenes. Happened about 1000 times.

if you want to see jcvd, be ready for the fact that it's not traditional van damme. also, don't read any reviews, because spoilers suck.

"Fastest Knockout - 3.2 seconds!"

bap bap down

Thats what it would be like essentially, unless he ran out with a knee like some UFC fighters do.
What I wonder, is why this "Franx Dookie" guy isn't as common a name of reference such as names like Royce Gracie. Was none of his shit documented properly or something

the shit on him is hilarious

'look at me, i did all this cool stuff!

but no one will tell you about it except me

why?

it's a secret!

no really!'

i was refering to the fastest punch to a knockout being .32 seconds yet fastest knockout is 3.2

and kick is in mph all of a sudden......

"Was Frank Dux really a CIA Operative as his book claims?
Dux's book The Secret Man tells of his often graphically violent James Bond-like experiences as a CIA operative, doing such things as killing a mass murderer and aiding the U.S.S.R. in investigating what proved to be a scam anthrax scare. In the book, Dux describes himself as "sleek and agile," a professional martial artist "considered by many the fastest human alive," a man able to break bullet-proof glass with a blow from his bare hand, "a great hunter" who as a CIA operative worked "on the edge of a psychological razor". The problem is that no one can prove that Dux is lying and Dux is unable to convincingly prove that he's not. His alleged contact in the CIA, director William Casey, passed away from a brain tumor in 1987, almost ten years before Dux's book was published. William Casey was not around to either confirm or denounce Dux's claims."

For the kick speed it is true that he may have not have had many landing knockout kicks, or kicks up to his actual potential, to warrant a similar testing. Plus theres no way anybody would be his test bunny for that since taking a leg shot from a trained professional is about as smart as drinking koolaid laced with clorox. So maybe they opted to measure the strike alone and used the same method of measurement as cops can do by following with their finger.

As far as legitamacy goes, I never said he wasn't a real dude. Just that not much is said about him in other circuits.

Although with this line

Quote :
"No known Martial Arts governing body will acknowledge the existence of the Kumite tournament, which is supposedly a no-holds-barred mixed martial arts competition held in secret every five years"

I guess the legend could hold water

and with this pic

The guy does look pretty cereal (in the killer sort of way)

so to put in perspective, no one can really know for sure. Its like fight club and the number one rule, you dont talk about fight club

<--- Has the original Bloodsport movie poster. The video store that I used to ride my bike to as a kid would let you put your name on the back of their posters to claim them. I asked them if anyone had claimed the Bloodsport poster and it turned out that my next door neighbor had his name on it. He had just moved away and they let me get it since he was gone.
