My pop just got over his second one yesterday, still limping around and stuttering the way he'd been doing since his first one though.

I came home last night and he talked to me about it over his beer.

full on stroke or just a TIA? if his symptoms didn't change from how he was before, it's a TIA.

I don't know what TIA is but he felt it only in his leg this time. The first time it was in his brain, around the spot I tapped on your head, so it affected his speech. This time he took a bad fall at the grocery store.

I just wonder how many more he's going to have to suffer before he gets serious about taking care of it. It seems he just wants to let go of his body.

TIA = transient ischemic attack = precursor to a real stroke sort of a miniature stroke

correct
if the symptoms (hemiparesis, etc) go away within 24 hours, it's a TIA.
