...sounds so fucking wrong. It is dumb. Don't do it.
("They will address the problem of overweight and obesity.", "The man's overweight contributed to his condition.", etc.)

OVERWEIGHT IS A FUCKING ADJECTIVE

I'm going to name my dog overweight.

Then it WILL be a noun.

I am going to name my kids overweight and underweight...

Just because I can.

Lucky for my daughter I didn't consider this sooner...

Many health professionals do it, and I don't know why.
You've never heard it used that way?

I've seen "the overweight" used before, but never just overweight as a noun... Interesting.

^^ You forgot "disgusting". Disgusting fatbody ftw.

I've heard it be used as a noun many times, but only when referring to vehicles in reference to highway weight ratings.

This exact phrase gets about 1000 hits, and they all appear to be on "official" medical sites.

None of you have ever heard this?

You know how after you hear something and take it to mind, you seem to hear that same thing a lot more often? (You notice it more easily?) That's happening with me and this retarded use of "overweight" as a noun.

I hope none of you have to be annoyed by this. You are lucky for having not heard it.

4) why did you post in a thread that you think is stupid about a subject for which you don't care?

^^
It sounds ok when talking about objects. However it doesn't sound right when talking about obese people.
