i'm not a big sushi fan but that plate looks like something from a tv show...
12/23/2008 9:49:05 PM
i love to make it at my house but if i eat it at a restaurant i seem to be more paranoid about getting sick
12/23/2008 9:50:17 PM
i've never made sushi before... it was way more rewarding than just buying it and eating it.
12/23/2008 9:55:50 PM
A girl I used to date was way too into making sushi.
12/23/2008 9:55:56 PM
^how so?she make it like every night?
12/23/2008 9:57:25 PM

12/23/2008 9:59:18 PM
If you want to send me any, please make the kind with the rice on the outside instead of the seaweed on the outside
12/23/2008 10:00:51 PM
joie that's a pretty plate
12/23/2008 10:01:20 PM
showoffs
12/23/2008 10:02:50 PM
the only hard part is to get the rice right...
12/23/2008 10:03:53 PM
I don't know, it's hard to say. I'm not a big fan of sushi, and she just thought it was way cool that she was making it at home and was all about how much better it was then when she got it at a restaurant, and to me it all just tastes pretty much like raw fish..
12/23/2008 10:14:28 PM
which is AWESOME!
12/23/2008 10:15:37 PM
Meh, it's only ok. It's not something I want regularly or something I like spending a lot of money on, which you inevitably do. If I never had sushi again I wouldn't miss it. Gimme a steak any day, yo.
12/23/2008 10:17:12 PM
kurama at columbia/rosemary in chapel hill is pretty good and not expensive either
12/23/2008 10:18:23 PM
12/23/2008 10:22:30 PM
I have made it a few times before but I can never get the rice the way I like it. The rice is what makes it the best thing in the world to me. I put rice vinegar in mine but I am never satisfied with the tangy to sweet ratio. I am a straight up raw fish girl. I have a hard time with vegetables being in my rolls. The best party I ever went to was a make ur own martini and sushi party. We got smashed and rolled some sushi. It was the best!!!
12/23/2008 11:29:48 PM
DO WANT
12/23/2008 11:31:25 PM
