To me it isn't worth it because It can't hold nearly all my music. I'd rather just have a standard ipod.

what features in it are you going to use most? basically what are the main reasons you want to get it and we can tell you whether its worth getting or not. it wasnt worth it for me since my phone already provided internet and email and nice camera for me and the touch didnt have the storage i wanted for all of my music.

some people really like the games and stuff and to them it was really worth it. but as blas put it:

if they made an 80gig one instead of an 8 it would be worth it. 8 gigs can't hold very much music at all.

You have to be in range of decent wifi a good bit of the time to make it worthwhile. I'm on campus most of the day, so it makes sense for me. Otherwise it's just a music player with a fancy interface and less storage.
