- The chord (I swear I can hear it!) that is missed and played barely off-key in "Sexy Sadie" about 1/3-1/2 of the way through.

- The "wipe" near the end of "Have a Cigar" during a Gilmour solo that makes everything low-fi and, inexplicably, makes me love that solo even more.

Do Make Say Think - A With Living and The Universe!
the 2nd chorus around the 4 minute mark when all the instruments and all thousand of the band members join in. The song then devolves into a beautiful and relaxed instrumental. This leads to another favorite moment. As soon as the song ends "The Universe!" kicks the door down for five minutes of noise. Great use of tracklisting.

talking heads - once in a lifetime - 1:45 - 2:05; just the layering of byrne talking about the water under the oceans
and jerry harrison has some great shit in that song too

dave brubeck quartet - take five - the first time the saxophone comes in; the notes get repeated throughout the song, but there is just something about how he breaks into the song

In Red Animal War's "when fat pigs fly" the bridge in that song that starts with the lyrics 'when fat pigs fly...' absolutely makes that song. Never was sure what it was but the mood of that little section its absolutely freaking perfect for its spot in the song and I think that every time I hear the song still to this day.

also there are SO many parts on the deftones white pony that I could pick. That album is recorded and produced so well its insane. But one of the standout parts is about 2:33-2:57 into the song "Digital Bath" where most of the normal music cuts out except some faint cymbal hits and Chino's lyrics are "you breathed then you stopped, i breathed then dried you off..." What makes the part is the sampling in the background that DJ Frank Delgado does that literally sounds like a pristine digital stream of water and then the parts ends with the screeching noise. Instant goosebumps.
