My current workplace has dead silence to greet clients who are put on hold, and I'd like to change that. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of companies that provide hold music & messaging?

the few I've seen are just computer programs, though you'd have to buy hardware to run your phone system into & out of the computer.

It's a phone system with 5 lines, 4 of which clients can call in on, I don't know much more than that off hand, but I'll try to take a look next time I'm around them. I do remember they say "TRM, Inc." on them.

Evan, can you tell me more about what you've done? Do you use licensed music?

For that website someone posted, I'm seeing hold music, but no hold music/message mix. I definitely want a message in there so that we can do some internal marketing to our clients while they are hold, and use it as a chance to answer some FAQs, and provide general info about clinic. Did you use the get800today site? What was your experience with them if you did? I'm definitely interested in hearing feedback about these companies.
