in my 98 durango, while driving down the road, there's cold air coming from somewhere behind the glove box. I'll have the heater on, and it'll do its job, but it seems like there's a vent or something back there that I'm not finding or something.
ideas? suggestions? 1/2/2009 2:44:06 PM |

not sure at all.
all I know is that on the way back from wilmington, my gf bitched the whole way about how cold her feet were even though I had the heater on hi and selected to blow thru the floor vents. about halfway home I reached over to the passenger to see wtf was up, and felt cold air coming from the underneath the dash. 1/2/2009 3:45:05 PM |

sounds like the giant foam block between the heater box and firewall on the bottom has come out of place and isnt sealing, does it blow cold air when sitting still? if not, then you need to pull it all out and try it again 1/3/2009 11:08:27 AM |

yeah its definitely only happening when the vehicle is in motion, and only happening in that area around the glove box.
^thanks for the suggestion, I'll take a look at it. 1/5/2009 12:10:07 PM |
