I got one on eBay for $0.99 + $5.95 shipping new-in-box old stock.



I'm lolling at the Windows® 98, Me, and 2000 compatibility. Linux with the tulip driver I think.



There are a bunch of holes for pins that aren't there. I'm going to solder up some headers and see what happens. I want to have an all-in-one router, gateway, file server, some home automation stuff, etc. so I figured I would give this thing a whirl. Really just having a case with a 1 Gbps switch strapped to it and I would be happy. My guess is that it is not going to be supported by Comcast but I couldn't resist picking it up

if it's DOCSIS compliant, they legally have to let you put it on their network

just call them up and say you'd like to switch the MAC address on file for your account
