I'm guessing around $2000, but I was reimbursed for a lot more than that for work travel.

i don't know. pretty sure more than $3220, and i didn't even buy any fuel for the last 3 months of the year.

of course, i spent the first four months or so screaming around backroads in my Evo, burning 93-oct at about 18 mpg...then I spent the next 5 months or so in my V-10 Ram, getting 9-11 mpg, including a drive from the northwest corner of Washington State to Morehead City, pulling a trailer and a total load of 8-9k lbs...then about a half-dozen commutes up to the triangle area from Morehead in the Ram.

Throw tires (4 on the Evo, 2 on the trailer, 1 on the Ram), oil (2x five qts Mobil 1 in the Evo, and 2x a whole shit ton of dino in the Ram), and insurance (got pulled over 13 times in the 13 months I lived in WA; ticketed thrice), and I don't even want to know what I spent.

Well let's see, I had one car that got 8mpg, another that got 10mpg, and one that just leaked the fuel out on the ground when it took a notion to.

I don't want to know.

I don't know off the top of my head but I write it down in a notepad every time I fill up. So I'll get back to you guys later in the week with a tally

(probably won't be that much since I lived in NYC 1/2 the year and spent over a month during the summer unable to drive at all, lol)

Just did the math, and I've spent around $1500 on fuel this year. Then again I've only driven the car 12,000 miles this year. If you like, you can add $640 in MTA subway cards for a total of $2140

I don't know the cost, I'd need a list of average prices weekly or monthly throughout the year to help with the estimating.

54,000+ miles, 93 octane, ~30 mpg

Probably $3k-$4k. Those weeks of burning $120+ a week between work, travel, and the boat added up fast.
