I need 2 strong dudes to help me move a few things on Saturday, January 24th. The large things include: a dresser, bureau, love-seat, oversize couch (this will be the toughest item to move), a couple book shelves and a bed. There will probably be some other boxes as well but no more than one small U-haul load. Basically, I really need help moving the furniture that my fiance and I can't move ourselves (she's not too strong). Also, I will be helping every step of the way.

Another thing to note is that I will be moving from a 3rd floor apartment to another 3rd floor apartment that is 20 minutes away. It won't be easy but it shouldn't take long. I will have a 17' U-haul so I guarantee only one trip will be necessary. I predict this will take about ~3 hours.

Post questions if you have any.

I'll pay $20/hr plus tip. The tip is assuming that everything goes smoothly.

I'll give more details and negotiate an exact time/date later in the week after I talk to the apartment complex again. It's a brand new apartment complex so my unit isn't completely finished yet. They told me it should be completely done by then but I want to make sure I can move in on the 24th.

I'm going to give first dibs to the people who offered first but I'm willing to bump you up if you've got plenty of moving experience.

UPDATE:

The new apartment is not supposed to be finished until the end of February. They originally said that it should be complete by the end of this month

When I helped a friend move recently, one of his gf's friends was by far the most capable mover. She looked like your average petite girl, but apparently she use to work for fedex or something, and was a beast.
