Where is Billy Beane getting all this money from?

I mean they will only get Holliday for a year but Giambi could be better out of NY.

There aren't enough A's fans in the world to even fill up those huge in-play foul zones.

i used to dig the A's back in the day before i understood what allegiances where.

and i'd be surprised if giambi regains his old form. i think he's washed out at this point

I loved the A's as a kid for some reason, Mark McGwire was my favorite player (way before St. Louis and the HR thing).

So the A's have one great player in his prime, and have added 3 stars past there prime, but if those 3 guys can find some past glory this season it could be pretty cool. But, their pitching is less that spectacular isn't it?

Hasn't there been a hell of a lot of rumors about the A's leaving Oakland some time soon? So could be there last year in Oakland, maybe something crazy will happen.

yeah, they are talking about San Jose now.

Selig has appointed a special MLB task force to help them leave Oakland and yes - NC - is a possibility.

yeah I know he is down to start the season, but he was hurt two seasons ago coming out of the bullpen and came back last year as a pretty solid solid starter ....

Keith Law thinks we win the AL West.... I think some of our rookie starting pitchers are going to be fantasy sleepers though, its just tough to tell which ones will actually find their groove..
