Rundown:
currently I'm on an ATT family wireless plan. My job is providing me with a SIM for my current device. I do not want to lose my cell number of the last 10 years. I'd like to LNP my current cell number to my packet8 phone at home and then just use call forwarding to have it ring my new work phone. packet8 claims they can only port wired numbers and not wireless.

what intermediary steps do I need to make this work? I'd like to keep my packet8 landline phone (cell reception sucks in my house, email voicemails, the sweet phone they gave me, all for $15/month) so getting another service would have to be really worthwhile to do it.
