It was my first time in Cameron...so after the game I went down to the court (they let everyone do this to take pictures, etc). Once I left there, I was standing in the lobby area just outside the court, and out walks Sid. Literally just walking around. No Security, No one else....just him. He's walking right towards me and I'm thinking "If I don't say something, what a wanker I would be", so I stop him in his tracks and tell him that the boys played really tough, and as State fans we appreciated the effort the guys played with (until the 10:00min mark).

He appreciated that and candidly said "yeah, if we could have some ball control and avoid panicking, we would've been ok." I gave him a fist bump and we went on our way.

He was visibly upset by this loss. Dude wanted to win there bad.

It did give me a glimmer of hope though. If we ever get a decent point guard in here, Sid's got the passion and intensity that I would want in a head coach.
