i will boot my computer, and it will load up IE with "http://www.webthangs.com/count/rotate/click.php?id=2" in teh address bar as soon as windows is loaded up.
i can close the IE window and 10-15 min later it does it again...and will keep doing it over and over.

i have run a bunch of different adware and virus programs, nothing is getting rid of it.

can anyone help me with this? i feel like i had something like this happen before but i was able to get it fixed...dont remember how..maybe ran hijackthis to get some info, and someone decyphered it for me.

i am going crazy trying to get this figured out..
i searched online and the few answers all lead me to try the same software with no results.
i am running avgfree as a virus program

what are you using to search for adware?

have you tried searching while in safe mode?

how you tried downloading spybot? that will fix you up.
