Ehhh think I'm gonna pass on this due to money, the overall shitiness of Way to Normal, and the fact that I just went to the BFF reunion show.

Miniature Tigers suck. after the show, their singer was standing outside desperately trying to be noticed.

Ben Folds, on the other hand, was all kinds of awesome!

We came in between Minature Tigers and the Lorelei's Group performing

Can I just say that this crowd is SO MUCH BETTER AND MORE RESPECTFUL than the one that was at the BFF reunion show?

I was sitting in the top balcony in the back and there was this one girl who started to clap (out of sync) to every BF's song and I think somebody told her to either get some rhythm or shut the fuck up

And there was a clearly wasted girl dancing to every song like she was in a rap video...I gotta admit it was very clever how she booty danced to 'Emmaline" and "Philosophy"

my bro had tickets, so I went with him and it was a pretty rockin' show. we had great seats, orchestra, section K, real close.

the lead singer of Mini Tigers was seriously lame, but their music wasn't half bad. The Loreleis were a nice surprise. The second chick who sang had a really sexy, sensuous voice.

Ben Folds was good. I only knew about half the songs, but it was all good stuff. The bassist kept pissing me off with how nonchalant he was acting, but he had talent. I also couldn't get over that Triangle player, he was not fucking around, killing that triangle and it was cracking me up.

overall good show.. happy he played lullabye and emmaline. thought the story about the leaks was funny.

minor annoyances: everyone in my row must've gotten up during the performance like 3 times. and there was a drunk guy who apparently thought he could sing better than ben folds, because he was SCREAMING THE LYRICS.

but yea, overall, good show. can't wait for him to come back!

In case anyone was wondering about the set list:

Bitch Went Nutz (fake)
Effington
Brainwascht
Annie Waits
Alice Childress
Way To Normal
Bastard
You Don't Know Me
Lovesick Diagnostician (Dr. Yang fake)
Dr. Yang
Hiroshima
Landed
Free Coffee

Solo:
Fred Jones Pt. 2
Boxing
Emaline
Lullabye

Entire band:
Kylie From Connecticut
Zak and Sara
Rockin' The Suburbs
Kate
Army
Not The Same

Encore:
Fair
Philosophy, ending with Theme From Dr. Pyser

I got lucky and had third row center orchestra seats courtesy of the fan club. I really enjoyed the two percussion guys on stage with the band. The french horn blew me away in Alice Childress. Army was kick ass when the crowd started to sing the horn parts without being prompted to do so. I had a good time.

My brother and I were talking about that after the concert that we'd like the fake songs too but we guessed they had the same name as the real song so it would hard to find online.

amazon.com has it for $12.99

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001P4OADI?ie=UTF8&tag=epicrecords-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B001P4OADI

it has 2 cds (the first cd is the original Way to Normal cd) but you can put it in your computer and mess around with the tracks and stuff

the 2nd cd is a "cleaner" version of Way to Normal w/o all the synthesizers and shit. and it also has some of the fake songs.

I got the fake tracks when they were originally leaked online. Ben did follow up and posted them each on his myspace for downloading but it doesn't look like they are up now.

All the fan club members were sent a free copy of Way to Normal: Stems and Seeds. I got mine in the mail maybe two weeks ago and it looks like it's autographed too.

As described by Ben: One disc is a remix, remaster, re-sequence of "Way To Normal" along with the now legendary (in our own minds) 'fake' tracks, the Japanese version of "Hiroshima", the Conan Rehearsal of "You Don't Know Me" and the Piano Orchestra version of "Cologne" - a total of 20 tracks.

The other disc is like Fhqwhgads said, it contains the "stems" of Way to Normal tracks where you can remix a track yourself.

Like he said at the concert, some fans like the fake tracks better than the real ones. I like the fake versions of Bitch Went Nutz, and Dr. Yang better than the originals. I knew they had recorded the songs in just one day in Ireland but I had no idea they even wrote the lyrics on the plane and did the music that same day too. Pretty cool.
