Hi, I'm looking for a tutor for CE 325 - Structural Analysis. I have a test coming up soon so ASAP would be great. Willing to negotiate a price.

Thanks!

this might be out of NC86's range of expertise.

You're probably more likely to get people who would be willing to just randomly help you understand the problems on TWW than actual people who want to tutor you.

For instance, people like me work, but I stop by here at night and if you asked a question that i know the answer to about matrices or something I'd do my best to answer it.

Ok that was harsh on my part, but really this class isnt that difficult. But i will say If you get lost near the start of the semester I would pretty much say you will be lost the whole semester. This class builds upon itself continuously.

You need to hit up Dr. Matzens Office hours as much as you can, also try to find study group.

Also TA are a great resource for help.

^ yeah, no one really gets tutored in these classes. people who struggle, and some that don't, work in groups.

1.) Why are you working alone? Have you not yet figured out engineering is for teamwork? Find some people and do some teamwork.

2.) Dr. Matzen has office hours and I bet you have a TA.

3.) Work with a team

4.) Work with a team

5.) How do you expect to graduate with an engineering degree and never work as a teammate? Sure it's possible, but stupid and not worth it.

6.) Work with a team

7.) Ask some erection lovers around Mann Hall (erection lovers would be structure guys)

I worked mostly individually throughout college!

Yes, it's hard as hell and, unless you have always had the ability to pick stuff up and remember it with little to no studying, you're definitely gonna want to work in a group. I hit this wall in graduate school and, cause I didn't have time to meet with the groups, I had to get out and work full time (cause otherwise I'd be trying to pay for health insurance while in college right now with aidsabeetus!).

Yeah though, I agree with everything else said here. TA's are very useful. Mr. Matzen is very helpful and will gladly teach you/tutor you during his office hours with what you haven't understood too well.

i'd help you out but I'm down in wilmington working an outage. I still even have my notebooks from his 325 and 425 class back at my office in SC. Good luck, perhaps later in the semster I can help out when I'm not working 80 hrs/wk.
