GSP won the first time, correct? If I remember right it went to the decision and was a pretty close fight. I am personally a huge GSP fan. I liked him from the moment I started watching him, well before he won any championships. He seems like a class act. I really wish they could work out a way for him and Anderson Silva to fight.

I think GSP is the best all around fighter in UFC but I will be pulling for Penn. If 5 o'clock does not charge a cover i'll watch it over there. If they are charging a cover than I'll be watching it at home free courtesy of bigman and tvu.

I like Penn in this fight. He's got the better chin. GSP has been knocked out, and he's been submitted in his career. Penn's losses have come due to poor conditioning, a problem he has seemed to address in the last few years.

I agree with prawn, Penn loses on conditioning reasons. He's dominated everyone he's been against since coming back. He packs a lot of power in his punches and has ridiculous jits. I think GSP is an unbelievable fighter, but I think (and hope) Penn takes the fight. BJ is a beast...how about him licking the blood off his gloves after the Sherk fight? I'm also really looking forward to the Silva v Machida fight.

im also excited to see stephan bonnar back, but i like this jon jones guy and i dont know why they threw him to the wolves so fast...jon jones is an exciting prospect i dont think it is his time to face someone on bonnars level yet.

but there arent many low level fighters in the 205 division anyway lol so....i hope jon jones is once again impressive but im hopin stephan bonnar wins and starts climbin that ladder again

I am surprised you put so much stock in Bonnar. I am not at all impressed by him. Other than his first match with Forrest Griffin, I have never really seen him be much beyond mediocre.

I'm just ready for the fight. If I had to bet, I'd put $ on GSP but never count BJ out - he's fighting with a definite chip on his shoulder and he for sure has a lot of 'intangible' advantages. I am sick of hearing him talk though and I'm not sure that he's as hungry as he was during his rise in this sport.

I'm also super pumped for Guida v Diaz - I think (and hope) Clay works Nate - his weigh-in was awesome. Clay always makes for some money staredowns (beg of Rd 3 in Huerta v Guida battle)
