You pull for UNC-CH over Duke tonight. I dont care how much you hate Duke

Go pick up an ACC history book if you think otherwise, Duke is just a flash in the Coach K pan of ACC basketball history. Especially if you take away when N.C. State Alum, Vic Bubas brought them success in the sixties.

Duke and Wake are close rivals... dare I say "friendly?" of NCSU but never to the magnitude of the hated archrival Tarheels.

Not even close, If you are a State fan you hate UNC-CH more then the frontcourt of Osama, Hitler, and Stalin on the Fuck America team. Extreme I know, and that's why you are a State fan.

Good always wins, the Rebels took down evil empire. N.C. State will be back... Someday.

So go back to Connecticut or Wal-Mart or where ever you came from if you can't follow the simple rule... Never cheer for the Holes. It's a good start, then maybe you can check Wikipedia about why you should be proud of our basketball program no matter how much we suck now.

If you're a State fan, you're more than just a regular fan....because you know you're not there for just the wins. There is something special attracting you. I was pulling for Duke because I really didn't want Hansfag to win there all 4 years. I had planned on pulling for UNC in chapel hill, but since Duke lost, I will be pulling for Duke again.

People who grew up around here as NCSU fans are totally different than those who became NCSU fans later on. If you didn't grow up as a die hard NCSU fan, you have no idea the torture and crap that you get in grade school. It was very unpopular in middle school to pull for State

I'm old enough where being a State fan in grade school (well elementary at least) wouldn't get you mocked and scorned. I feel for the State fans in elementary school in this day and age.

Also, there was no overblown Duke / Carolina rivalry in those days. It was all NCSU / Carolina.

Those days are gone.

I cheer against both of them. As long as one of them loses I'm satisfied, especially if I get to see a lot of sad blue faces after the game, which is why I hope Duke loses at home.
