There are plenty of web series that are well made. Dismissing something because it's being presented on the web is just as stupid as saying you'll never listen to any music that doesn't come from a major record label. 2/13/2009 6:40:10 PM

In general, i do not like live action adaptations, and i don't listen to much music on major record labels, which i guess is quite the opposite.
For example: When Opeth, my favorite band, signed to roadrunner the integrity of their music went downhill. Enslaved, my second favorite band, last good album? Below the lights - Omose Records 2003. Next album? Isa - 2004 Candlelight and it sucks compared to everything they did before as do the following records. Did i ignore these albums because they changed labels? no. i gave them the same listen i did the others the first time and they didn't hold up. Is it the label? probably not, then again Roadrunner and Candlelight ruin a lot of bands. Opeth also used to be on candlelight go figure. This probably applies more to metal than anything else, but populatiry and record label size in general both have a definite negative correlation with quality of music. Then again i'm close minded when it comes to music, and don't really change my initial opinions very often.
okay valve i get it, half life and half life 2 were awesome, you made a good game in the midst of shitty FPS'. i completely agree. now come up with something new. Like portal. Portal was nice and didn't overstay its welcome or insist upon itself. I already played half life. I don't want to go through the same half life spiel over and over again. We're just two generations from Gordon Freedman Sunshine.
