My degree is in English Education. If I had to do college all over again, I would have gotten a degree in Child Development and Family Studies.
But I would have had to go to UNCCH or some other school for that degree program and I would have never met my husband. 2/14/2009 8:11:04 AM |

I would've chosen Political Science and then onward to Law School. In addition, I would've made sure that I had plenty of tutoring in Economics since I didn't understand it the first two times.
Now I'm a history graduate that's headed for law school. Wish me luck. 2/14/2009 8:21:31 AM |

I don't think i'd change much, except maybe I would have done EE/CPE instead of CSC.
A few years ago, I would have answered that i'd have majored in finance and catered my development towards iBanking, but given the current wall street mess, that might not have ended well. 2/14/2009 9:11:42 AM |

i wouldn't have liked it, but i would have majored in business and minored in computers/networking of some sort. it'd be a lot more helpful than animal nutrition seeing as how i work for my dad at an architectural firm (eventually will be management). i would have liked to take some drafting classes, and plan on taking some at the community college, but i don't think state teaches many of those anyway.
i wouldn't have enjoyed business, but it'd be more helpful for sure. 2/14/2009 10:54:06 AM |

I would have chosen the same major, but i would have probably gone to CC FIRST and then transferred to NCSU. My main difficulty in college was not the course work, it was the adjustment coming from such a small-town atmosphere into the large college setting.
Secondly, I would have stuck it out. I was in too much of a hurry to join the workforce. 2/14/2009 11:27:00 AM |

I'd have waited 1, maybe 2 years before going to school. I was in no way responsible enough to handle college at 18, and it showed. I probably should have taken a couple of semesters off to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail when I was around 20 instead of waiting 10 more years as well. 2/14/2009 11:49:28 AM |

I should have gone into the navy for4 years. And then gone to college. I needed to do a lot of growing up back then. The discipline would have done me good.
^I did take a year off...and it was good and bad. The working world (and the level I worked at) sucked.
I'd still have picked mechanical engineering, but I would have gotten a lot more involved in everything, and I would have spent a lot more time working on school and a lot less time partying my ass off. 2/14/2009 12:00:45 PM |

I would have picked nursing I would have started studying spanish my first year I would have learned about and stayed away from anyone like warren I would have lived on campus my first year I would have looked at colleges farther away (UNC [colorado, not that icky blue UNC] gave me a nice scholarship, but nothing that would have made up for having to pay out-of-state tuition) -or- I would have done the CC route for a year or two, and then transferred somewhere 2/14/2009 12:55:12 PM |

i'm an outdoors kind of guy. little did i know that meteorology mostly consists of being indoors behind a computer...so every time it's nice outside and i'm stuck in the office, i die a little bit on the inside
if i could go back and do it all over again, i would do Parks & Rec or Forestry so i could have a career working in the outdoors! 2/14/2009 3:45:11 PM |

I probably would have done meteorology, moved to the midwest, and been one of those guys on that storm chasers show. Thats what I wanted to do growing up but I let the idea of money and such get the best of me and instead chose CPE and well that didnt exactly work out for the best either. So now I just live my dream vicariously through those guys on tv haha 2/14/2009 4:32:36 PM |

I would have still gone to state and majored in Chemistry; but I would have used my electives to get a second degree in Science Education instead of waiting to do that later at a different school. I also would have NOT lived in University Towers and instead lived in a dorm!!
Oh and I would have taken advantage of the tutorial center for Physics 205 and 208 because I desperately needed help in those courses

not at walmart. any other pharmacy sure, but not walmart.
i'm a pharm-d and from speaking to people that have worked there, they offer you the bottom of the barrel (as they do for everyone) when it comes to pay and benefits.
