Kenny Inge is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He was one of the gutsiest players to ever put on the Red and White. He is now the head coach at Cary Academy. I got the chance to catch up with him the other day. Check out the interview.

Inge regularly made the list of "dirtiest players in the ACC", as voted by the players. He didn't look all that nice when he was scowling all the time on the court.

He was a real sonofabitch, but at least he was OUR sonofabitch.

I think he was just a hard/tough player. Never seemed to be "nasty" or "dirty"...but might have had a few "errant" elbows during his career.

He threw down some nasty dunks in his day.

Inge will always hold a special place in my heart for nailing all those free throws down the stretch against UNC in the dean dome in '98. C.C. carried us into the lead by draining 3's in the first half, Inge helped us seal it at the line, which was a real problem for us against UNC during those years (remember Ishua's propensity for clutch-time turnovers?)
