Anyone know the exact requirement for the GRE for alumni? I seem to remember thinking you didn't need to take it if you were an alumni or something like that, but I could be totally wrong.

The GRE wasn't required when I started out at NCSU for a MSEE. But this was back in 2004, so rules may have changed.

I don't think State requires the GRE for alumni. I did the ABM program about two years ago and there was no GRE requirement to apply.

The NCSU grad department overall requires a 3.25 cumulative GPA and then the departmental one has similar requirements...

But I didn't have to take the GRE to get in, just 3 solid references

When I started my MSEE in 2004, the GRE wasn't required for NCSU EE alumni.

"GRE scores within the last four years from the general GRE exam. Guideline minimal GRE percentile scores are 70 percentile verbal, 90 percentile quantitative, and 50 percentile analytical or writing. GRE scores for students who are graduates from NCSU may be waived."
