so we're entertaining a customer and his sister (weird right?) from somewhere up in Penn. just having a meal and the topic comes to my southern accent I commented that really wasn't that thick and that they should really hear some cajun/creole or gullah dialects if they wanted to hear something really unique and I briefly explained how there so influenced by numerous cultures and what not and the girl goes

"yeah well thats just a lot of ignorance too right"
