Anyone on here ever been to the Shamrock Fest in DC?

What bands on this list should I check out? I've never heard of any of them.

the one group that I see on those lists that is a must see is Dub Trio but I really have no idea what you're into haha. They cover a pretty wide range of sounds in their songs but they have a lot of groove in their guitar and bass parts and just a lot of creativity imo. Not really a lot of vocals, just a lot of energy.

If I told you what I normally listen to, you'd say I was wasting my time going

But Im just going for the booze, women and see some friends. Just thought there might be a few bands that would be "must see".

haha word. well that was my one suggestion; they don't really sound like a lot of the stuff I listen to but are just talented guys. You might not like them I dono.

Flogging Molly is a must see...most certainly worth the price of admission for the whole festival...it'll make the guinness that much more tastier-er

bridge and tunnel is what people in manhattan use to describe people from the boroughs, the jersey side of the hudson and anywhere else NOT manhattan that come into the city

for people in DC, its when NoVA and Maryland/PG county folks come into the district

same thing

bridge

and

tunnel

not that hard to understand

Had a good time, even though it was cold and rainy. Spent most of the time under a tent watching the ACCT games. Good to see the holes get beat

The only bands I really got a chance to see were:

Donegal Express
Status Green
Scythian

From what I heard Scythian was my favorite. They really rocked.. or whatever it is you say about irish music
