i was given a dead one and brought it back to life and sold it. you would make more money that way.

well i was wondering if there were conditions for the trade-in, or if they offered you more if you had the accessories for it???

i've got a nano that won't hold a charge, the screen is scratched, the back is engraved, and the earphone jack cuts in and out

basically not worth trying to resell

well that really depends on how tightly you cling to your morals, doesn't it?

It's 10% flat, no matter the condition of the iPod as long as its in one piece. They won't take accessories (or they will and just toss them, you get nothing for it). If you have a completely dead one, it's a decent deal, if you have one thats at all functional, you might get more selling it or trading it in to someplace like iresq.com
