shit worked great at my old place, just moved, can't get a bar worth of signal.

spoke briefly with a "customer service rep" yesterday, basically was told i'd have to pay $200 to cancel the shit, or find someone to take over the account.

if anyone needs pretty quick internet (make sure you're in the coverage area) for $35 per month, let me know.

til then, stay tuned for the firestorm that unfolds when a "supervisor" calls me back.

lol, so customer service told you you'd have to pay to cancel a service that doesn't function properly? Nice.

not illegal.

it's what these fuckers recommend to avoid cancellation fees.

so basically, i sit on this shit, and pay for it while I see if someone wants to take over the contract. and it doesn't work.

i mean, they're getting $35/month from me, and what I'm paying for is non-existent.

Start sending them bills for delay of service. When they don't pay them, send them to collections

If you are going to call make sure you at least stay on the phone for 10 minutes, and request to speak to everybody that you can.

"just called to cancel-again

they asked why and i replied, "its terrible, it wont work with magic jack and it costs more than other services."

the bitch then asks me if i have a friend or family that would be interested in my modem. "no"

she then has the nerve to ask if i am familiar with craigslist"

ahahahaha what kind of bullcrap is that? This sounds like a sketchy ass company.

yeah youre stuck with that shit. my brother came to stay with me last year, and he had a clearwire modem that he had for like 8 months when he didnt need it. just cause it was cheaper to pay the 8 months than the cancellation fee

and the service is shit.

sux

I find it hard to believe that you'd have to pay to cancel.

I was at the coffee house yesterday and saw a clearwire ad.

29.99 for the interweb. Or, interweb and phone for 49.99. Fair enough. Then it says

or

39.99 for DirectTV

or

GET ALL THREE for 89.98

NO WAY? YOU'LL GIVE ME ALL THREE TOGETHER FOR THE PRICE OF ALL THREE SEPARATELY? GET THE FUCK OUT!? SIGN ME UP
