My school didn't allow it.

Doesn't mean I didn't have it.

They didn't allow it, but all the seniors took it and teachers tended to turn a blind eye to it.

^ So True, i spent many days as a sophomore riding in the trunk. then they gave up on even checking for most of the year so I got to ride in the passenger section of the car.

We had it in high school (Las Vegas) it was only 50 minutes long with 5 minutes on each side for cushion. Would be amazed at how many cars would speed to get to local places to eat. There were a lots of tickets and accidents from this fact.

no. Where would we go? To the woods? To the trailer houses near? To the convenient store 5 miles away?

2nd semester my senior year we would tell the teacher we were going to the bathroom and we'd just leave and go to bojo's she didn't get mad at us as long as we brought back something for her.

But one day she wouldn't let us go to the bathroom so we called a friend and he delievered it to us.

and then the year after i graduated, they started being ok with it. before that, seniors were allowed to eat outside as a "privilege".

I thought my school was the only one dumb enough to do that.

Our highschool used to allow, then stopped.

We would always have to go to non fast food places because the assistant principle or teachers would sometimes go to the fast food places. I always convinced people to go to little ceasar's for some $5 hot-n-ready pizzas or the chinese buffet. There was a gas station right next to school grounds where some kids would go to get a hotdog and chips or whatever.

Rocky Mount Senior High had it when I was there, but they phased it out within a few years of my graduation citing car accidents as their reason. They only gave us 30 minutes for lunch and some of the most insane driving I've ever witnessed happened within those 30 minutes. I bet extending the lunch to 50 minutes would have resolved the safety issues, but the people that ran that school were some of the biggest dicks I've ever had the displeasure of knowing.

My school had it for seniors. As a junior, though, I ran a large-scale smuggling operation to get me and my buddies out of there undetected. Eventually I was caught, and was sentenced to spend the rest of the year eating lunch in ISS because I wouldn't reveal who else went with me. GrumpyGOP ain't no god damn snitch. Hand to God, complete strangers came up to me and shook my hand for refusing to crack during interrogation.

We didn't have anywhere to go to eat lunch and be back in time. So, never a big issue.

Nowdays, the place has been developed a bit more, and there are actually fast food restaurants. Policy might've changed, who knows.

We had plenty of places around, but Bojangles was pretty far away on a busy street. That was always the challenge, making a Bojangles run, eating in the restaurant, and getting back in time. Few tried. Most failed. But for those who succeeded, there was...well, not "glory," per se, but "glorious Bojangles chicken."

green hope had it for seniors only at first... then when i became a senior, they opened it up to juniors too, so i had to have all those fags crowding up the parking lot during lunch.

we had to have graduated together because that's how it was my senior year as well

i can't tell you how many times we almost wrecked while racing to get back to campus on time

nowadays there are WAY more options around there than when i was there

i had weightlifting after lunch my senior year in high school, so it really didn't matter if i made it back on time. then the day was over.

we used to tear up the pizza hut buffet on peace street (put it out of business apparently... it's a starbucks now.) We had these "gold card" coupon card things we sold as a fundraiser for football which gave us buy one get one free every day at the hut. My friend and I would go (we are both hefty) and spent about 4.16 total (got water and didn't tip.)
